The
Smart Option
With wooden packaging including the humble pallet now
subject to global restrictions brought about by the introduction
of ISPM 15, plastic pallets such as PETEX are becoming
an increasingly cost effective option.
|
|
|
Modern
export designs provide high levels of impact and shock
absorption and are light, smart, easy to clean, efficient
to stack and include a host of features to make packing
quicker, safer and cheaper.

The
Strong Option
Pallets are not just used in despatch areas and product
storage between factory and despatch can become a logistical
nightmare if ISPM 15 means re-packing product off untreated
wooden racking pallets onto a suitable export pallet.

|
Using
a suitable plastic racking pallet can prevent any need
to separate product destined for certain countries as
PETRAK pallets can be sent anywhere without restriction.
Racking pallets should be strong and correctly designed
for safe racking and handling and if washable and reusable
they will safe costs on an ongoing basis.

The
Low Cost Option
Pallets have traditionally been made from softwood timber,
usually untreated, leading to variable quality and inconsistent
performance. Modern plastic pallets are made in efficient,
modern, high capacity factories that can provide the cost
benefits normally associated with the purchase of large
numbers of wooden pallets. Add in longer term reusability,
higher hygiene levels and recyclability and the plastic
option becomes attractive to the wallet as well as the
eye.
